Sophomores and other students planning to take the ACT college entrance exam on Saturday, April 14th, the deadline to sign up for the test is Friday, March 9th. Ms. Lewis rm# 107 and Mr. Bassham rm# 109 are offering Math and English intervention for the 2 weeks prior to the test. See Ms. Lewis in Room 107 to sign up for the test or with other questions room phone #1070. The cost of the test is 46.00 paid to ACT (you must use a credit/debit card since the registration is online).

Congratulations to Skylar Hutchison, who was honored at last week's Scholastic Art Awards ceremony with a special award. Skylar received the Emerging Artist Award by the Louisville Visual Art Association. This special award was one of only three given regionally, and was in addition to her Gold Key and Silver Key artwork.

Congratulations to Rosie Sullivan. Her artwork has been selected into The Annual National K-12 Ceramic Exhibition. This is the largest ceramic art competition in the United States. There were over 1200 entries and only 100 were selected from around the country. Her ceramic vase titled “Cheetos” will be on display in Pittsburgh for the month of March. If you do bring these items - they will be confiscated, you will be escorted out of the building, and you will also face disciplinary action when you return to school.
