KUNA meeting on Thursday after school 12/7 and 12/14 in room 316. New members welcome. The KUNA conference is March 22nd thru 24th. Our country's are Australia and Madegascar. Do not forget the Holiday giving due 12/15.

Metro Youth Advocates is an 9-session program designed to develop leadership and advocacy skills in high school students. We will explore issues relevant to our community through presentations from local leaders, research, teamwork, and open dialogue. Robotics Club will be meeting after school on Mondays starting November 13th. The first meeting will be in room T105 and will last until 4pm. An introduction to topics, plan, and then question and answer session will follow.
There will be no tryouts for fall sports for Boys Basketball today. Tryouts will be held Tuesday. Varsity tryouts for 11th and 12th grade boys in the old gym at 2:30pm, Don't be late! JV tryouts for 10th graders Tuesday in the old gym at 4:45. Freshman tryouts for 9th grade boys - Tuesday inn the old Gym at 5:30pm. Last call for boys basketball tryouts. Robotics Club will be meeting after school on Mondays starting November 13th. The first meeting will be in room T105 and will last until 4pm. An introduction to topics, plan, and then question and answer session will follow.
Photos for student ID's will be taken during lunch (10:15 am thru 11:45 am) on Tuesday, November 7th in the tech building computer lab (T209). Only students that have paid their fees and have a pink receipt will be able to get their photo ID. We will NOT be taking payments on that day. If you have lost your ID we can reprint for $7.00.

Vogt Scholarship Info: · Demonstrated leadership in school, extra-curricular and community activities · A cumulative (weighted) GPA of 3.2 or higher · An ACT score of 25 or higher, or an SAT of 1200 or higher (redesigned SAT) · Completed and/or enrolled in Advanced Placement or equivalent college-level curriculum The application and review process is entirely online. The registration link for applicants will be active the morning of October 11th on the Community Foundation of Louisville site.

Congratulations to senior Karen Fernandez Soto!! She has received the 2017 Churchill Downs Winner's Circle Governor's Scholar. There are only 31 chosen from over 1,000 GSP Candidates. She will be honored at the Churchill Downs Jockey Club!

Driver's Permit verification requirements: Student must have already turned 16!! Obtain the permit verification form in the Main/SEO office. Parent/Legal Guardian must fill out and sign top section of form and return to Mrs. Hockman in the main office for verification. Please allow 24 hour notice. Students please watch your speed while driving on campus and the streets surrounding PRP (Yucca and Feyhurst). Also, driving behind the tech building is now off limits, the gates behind the tech building (by the baseball field) will be locked from now on.
All cars need to be moved from the front parking lot next to Greenwood Road by 3pm Daily for Marching Band Practice. We appreciate everyone's cooperation!
