Seniors, you must complete a FSA ID to start the FAFSA. Please go to fafsa.gov for info.

Seniors, check on the PRP website for info on the Vogt Scholarship. This is a $10,000 scholarship. Only applications using the online system (including all recommendations) will be accepted. The deadline to submit applications and recommendations is November 29th at 4:30pm EST. "

Vogt Scholarship Info: · Demonstrated leadership in school, extra-curricular and community activities · A cumulative (weighted) GPA of 3.2 or higher · An ACT score of 25 or higher, or an SAT of 1200 or higher (redesigned SAT) ·Completed and/or enrolled in Advanced Placement or equivalent college-level curriculum The application and review process is entirely online. The registration link for applicants will be active the morning of October 11th on the Community Foundation of Louisville site.

Driver's Permit verification requirements: Student must have already turned 16!! Obtain the permit verification form in the Main/SEO office. Parent/Legal Guardian must fill out and sign top section of form and return to Mrs. Hockman in the main office for verification. Please allow 24 hour notice. (Verification requires having less than 9 unexcused absences and failed less than two classes in the preceding semester)

Any senior going on the UK College Trip on Nov 20 must apply to UK. Fee will be waived and space is limited. Permissions slips due ASAP"

Congratulations to senior Karen Fernandez Soto!! She has received the 2017 Churchill Downs Winner's Circle Governor's Scholar. There are only 31 chosen from over 1,000 GSP Candidates. She will be honored at the Churchill Downs Jockey Club!

Seniors remember to check college deadlines. Some application deadlines are approaching. Also check school websites for scholarship deadlines. This is peak time to apply so get your applications in!!

Do you have an overdue book? Do you have fines on late books? "Turn yourself in" during the month of November and we will erase your fines!

The annual Student Council canned food drive has begun and will run until Dec. 8. Please bring in canned goods to your first period class. The first period with the most cans will receive a special treat on December 18! All canned goods go to families in our school and area! Thank You and Happy Holidays from the PRP Student Council!

PRP 2017 - 2018 Basketball season tickets are on sale now in the Panther Pit until November 17. This season pass gets you admission to all PRP home game (11 boys and 13 girls games) and the PRP/Butler game at Valley. Cost is $25. This is a $66 savings!! Don't miss out!

Students - This is a reminder to not open our school doors for strangers. All people should enter our school through the Main offices of each building not through a side door. Also, if a person comes in a side entrance when you do that does not have a visitors pass on, immediately report this to your teacher or nearest adult.
