Diploma pickup information

Can you put on our website?

2020 Seniors that did not pick up their diplomas via the parade, can pick them up at PRP, M-F, from 10-1. Come to main building, front doors, and ring door bell.

Cap and Gown Pick up information

If you have a COUGH or SHORTNESS of BREATH, DIFFICULTY BREATHING or FEVER (100.F or greater),  you should NOT attend this event.
If you have any two  of the following symptoms, you should NOT attend this event:*Fever (99F-99.9F), *Shivering, *Headache, *New loss of taste or smell, *Chills, *Muscle pain, *Sore throat. 
Anyone with these symptoms should follow up with their healthcare provider.

In order to safely distribute the caps and gowns that have been ordered and delivered to PRP and practice social distancing we have put together a plan for students to follow.  In order to be compliant with all social distancing guidelines and minimize wait times we have broken pick up times on May 21st into 4 groups:
12-1 pm - Students with Last names starting with A Thru C
1-2 pm - Last names D-J
2-3pm - Last names K - Q
3-4pm - Last names  R-Z
If you are unable to come on May 21st there will be a makeup pick up time on May 22nd from 12-1pm.
 Students will need to be present in a vehicle and have a proper form of ID (school or state issued). All students must be in, and remain in a vehicle to participate.  Staff will not have access to a computer to look up students for identification. Students will also need to write their first and last name on a sheet of paper in large writing and display it through their windshield so that staff can see who is approaching.
Enter Campus via Feyhurst Drive and turn left onto Yucca. Security will not be letting any cars in the main school entrance. Follow Map to Stop 1 (Have Id ready and name displayed)
Stop 1:   Check in - If a student's Cap and gown has not been delivered they will follow the yellow route and exit via feyhurst.
Stop 2: Wait for direction from staff. Make sure your name can be seen in the windshield.
Once directed by staff, pull forward to stop 3.
Stop 3: Students will be given cap and gown and can exit campus via the main school  entrance.

NTI - Chromebook distribution info

JCPS will be announcing how families can request a Chromebook to use during NTI. JCPS will be distributing 25,000 Chromebooks to students. Devices will be returned to the district at the conclusion of NTI. Information is forthcoming about the return process. An email will be sent directly to families on free and reduced lunch and special considerations will be made for ESL and ECE students as well as our homeless students. Families will be selected through a lottery if the demand for devices is greater than our supply. The district will have direct communication with eligible families who don’t have an email address and will notify them to call 313-HELP to request a device. It is our mission to provide to our families who may be most in need first and then open up the devices to more families if supplies last. Chromebooks will be shipped to selected families. Paper copies of newly created Choice Boards will be available for children at our Emergency Food Sites. The district is also providing paper copies of course work for every grade level that will be given out at our Emergency Food Sites the week of April 6.

Congratulations to PRP's JV Quick Recall team. On Thursday, PRP participated in the County Championships. PRP advanced to the finals only to have the lead slip away during the last minute of the game, falling 13-12. PRP placed 2nd in the tournament.
