The Boys Soccer Team defeated Atherton 3-2 Monday night. A huge work ethic and a strong commitment to defense were the key to success. Goals were scored by Kadir Hussein, Saladi Husseini, and PJ Cleary. We'd like to thank all of our fans that came out to support us.

Starting next week all Boy and girl cross country and distance track runners will meet at PRP track at 2:45PM sharp for practice. We will have no more afternoon park meetings at 6PM until further notice.
Lunch announcement: New this year: We are trying to reduce waste so we are limiting the options to 2 fruits and 2 vegetables on a tray. Youy will stll get your 4 sides but will be limited to the 2 fruit / 2 vegetable rule. Also you are allowed 1 water baottle. Additional water bottles will be $.25.

Senior 2018 Powder Puff signups for players and cheerleaders will be this Friday 8/24 in room 218 at 6:45am. The first 50 girls to bring their permission slip completely filled out, have paid all class dues and $35, will get to participate. Forms will be available before and after school and during 5th period starting on Tuesday, 8/21 in room 218.

Anyone that is interested in participating in the PRP Girls Basketball Program, pre-season training program please see Coach Prichard Room 209A after 1230 for a schedule or track him down in hallways between classes. All training's will take place after school and will start Thursday September 6th. Pre-season training is voluntary, however anyone that participates will need to have a physical on file with the athletic department.
Any freshman or sophomore interested in playing baseball this fall there is an information sheet you can get posted on the door of room 309. The information sheets will be available starting Thursday 8/23
Join Student Council! Help make a difference! Informational Meeting-Wednesday August 22 at 2:30-245 in room 203 First meeting is Wednesday August 27 at 2:30-3:00 in room 203. Applications and fees are due at this meeting. Officer applications are due Monday August 27. Student Council is a great way to get involved! As a PRP Student, this provides you with a fun way to meet new people and help your community.

KYA will have their first meeting after school on Thursday 8-30 in room 316. New members welcome. For questions, please see Mrs. Findley or Ms. Thomas. Our KYA dates are Nov 18-20!!! Mark your calendars!!
Robotics Club will be starting Monday August 27th in T105, Mr. Dippie’s Room. Robotics club is an opportunity to learn how to use coding to make microprocessors light-up, move, or receive inputs.
Students remember- Cell phones and headphones are to be off and stowed at all times. If administration sees a cell phone or headphones they are directed to take that item to the office.
We will have SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUESTS ready for students on Monday. These will be available for pick up only during lunch in the front office. Schedule change requests must be returned to student Academy Office Clerk by Tuesday Morning at 7:40 This is the only time these will be available. This is only for corrections and will only be addressed based on graduation requirements or mistakes on schedule.
ALL STUDENTS THAT WANT TO JOIN THE BOYS AND GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM SHOULD BE PREPARED TO STAY AND MEET AT THE TRACK AT 2:30 STARTING NEXT MONDAY 8/20/2018

All Senior Co-Op students (UPS and Regular program) need to come to room 209 to see Mr. White at the end of their last academic class. Sign-out procedures and other important info will be discussed
Games Club starts this week. If you are in Mr. Muller's subgroup, try to see him after school on Wednesday or Thursday.
PRP Homecoming Dance is Friday Sept. 28 from 9pm to 12am. Tickets are $8 at the door.

Any boy or girl that wants to run cross country or track full or part-time (if they play two sports this season) please meet at the track after school this Monday-8/20/2018 for a meeting. If you play another sport then you can run cross country and track for us this season part-time. We will work with your 2 sport schedule if you would like to just run in a race here and there and claim another sport on your college applications. You may be a fast runner and get enough running in at your other sport. You can run in a race here and there and claim another sport.
