Friday 8/24/18

Starting next week all Boy and girl cross country and distance track runners will meet at PRP track at 2:45PM sharp for practice. We will have no more afternoon park meetings at 6PM until further notice.
Lunch announcement: New this year: We are trying to reduce waste so we are limiting the options to 2 fruits and 2 vegetables on a tray. Youy will stll get your 4 sides but will be limited to the 2 fruit / 2 vegetable rule. Also you are allowed 1 water baottle. Additional water bottles will be $.25.
There is no parking on the front parking lot from 2:45pm until 7pm daily. This parking lot is used for marching band practice. Please move all cars by 2:45. Thank you.
Class of 2021!! Sophomores!! Any student who is interested in becoming a class officer please stop by Mrs. Fox room 315, Mrs. Findley room 316, Mrs. Shipman room 242, Mr. Phillips room 336 for application. This application is due to Mrs. Fox by 8/30. Class election will be 9/5 during advisory.
Visit PANTHER PRIDE Thurs 8/30 in rm 108 at 2:30 for an interest/introduction meeting! Panther Pride is a group for LGBTQ+ students and allies where we hang out, eat, watch movies, listen to guest speakers, and enjoy each other in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. ALL PRP students and staff are welcome to attend. We love our allies! See Ms.Murphy in 108 for more information!
If there is anyone who would like tryout for the majorette team please come to the practice on Tuesday 8/28 for a try out in the auditorium' dance class.

This week's football game is at Bowling Green High School. The game will start at 7:30 Central Time (8:30 our time). This week's theme is GONE FISHIN. We hope to see a big crowd from PRP down in BG! (Juniors and Seniors--Carpool to get to the game--its an easy drive down I-65 to exit 22. Don't leave out the Freshmen and Sophomores!)
Anyone that is interested in participating in the PRP Girls Basketball Program, pre-season training program please see Coach Prichard Room 209A after 1230 for a schedule or track him down in hallways between classes. All training's will take place after school and will start Thursday September 6th. Pre-season training is voluntary, however anyone that participates will need to have a physical on file with the athletic department.
Any freshman or sophomore interested in playing baseball this fall there is an information sheet you can get posted on the door of room 309. The information sheets will be available starting Thursday 8/23
Join Student Council! Help make a difference! Informational Meeting-Wednesday August 22 at 2:30-245 in room 203 First meeting is Wednesday August 27 at 2:30-3:00 in room 203. Applications and fees are due at this meeting. Officer applications are due Monday August 27. Student Council is a great way to get involved! As a PRP Student, this provides you with a fun way to meet new people and help your community.
Senior 2018 Powder Puff signups for players and cheerleaders will be this Friday 8/24 in room 218 at 6:45am. The first 50 girls to bring their permission slip completely filled out, have paid all class dues and $35, will get to participate. Forms will be available before and after school and during 5th period starting on Tuesday, 8/21 in room 218.
KYA will have their first meeting after school on Thursday 8-30 in room 316. New members welcome. For questions, please see Mrs. Findley or Ms. Thomas. Our KYA dates are Nov 18-20!!! Mark your calendars!!

The library is now open for check out! If you would like to be on the lunch list, see Ms. Reed! The list will close on Friday September 7th.
Students remember- Cell phones and headphones are to be off and stowed at all times. If administration sees a cell phone or headphones they are directed to take that item to the office.
