Announcements 6/5/15

Congratulations Class of 2015!
Graduation will be held at Freedom Hall tomorrow morning at 9am.
All classes: PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN LIBRARY BOOKS AND PAY FINES! We will accept books and fines all the way until the last day of school. Thanks!
Students should release their final transcripts to colleges by going to their parchment account. Students need to click order transcript and click "hold for grades". This will release their final transcript for the Fall. We cannot do this for students. Final transcripts MUST be released to colleges for registration in classes.

Announcements 6/4/15

Parents and Guardians of seniors As we approach the end of the year, please keep these items in mind for your senior. All seniors must be eligible to graduate before they can attend any senior activities. ***Senior Activities- Senior Belle Trip, Senior Memories Breakfast, Senior Walk, Class Day Practice, Class Day, Graduation Practice and Graduation. *** It is my hope that ALL seniors graduate! Please encourage your senior to attend school and work to complete all requirements.
Seniors- if you need to complete graduation requirements after June 6, 2015, you will need to enroll in Jefferson County High School to complete summer program. Please see dates below for information on Jefferson County High School. JCHS will not test after May 7, 2015 until late July. All Students who enroll in Jefferson County High School must start at the beginning of each course; (we do not transfer partial grades). Non Graduating Seniors Non-graduating 2015 seniors must attend 5th year senior orientation on one of the following dates and times. Thursday, May 28 @ 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2 @ 12:00 pm or 6:00 pm, or Thursday, June 4 @ 12:00 pm.

Yearbooks will be on sale in the bookstore all 3 lunches until school is out! Yearbooks are $60 if you have not all ready purchased one.

Here is the schedule for the remainder of the week: Wed- Senior Breakfast ,Senior Walk, and Class Day Practice- Check in with 1st period teacher, be in cafeteria for breakfast by 8, Senior Walk . Class Day Practice from 9-11. Required Activity Thurs-Class Day, arrive by 8:15, no jeans, shorts, or tennis shoes. Attendance taken. Class Day will be from 9-11. Required Activity Fri-Graduation Practice at Freedom Hall, students should arrive no later than 10:45 am. Parking is free on practice day, use pass gates. If student signed up to ride the bus, busses will leave at 10:15. Practice from 11:00 am -12:45 . Attendance taken. Required Activity Saturday- GRADUATION DAY, Students should arrive by 7:45 to get in line. Parking is $8. Remember Cap, Gown, Tassel and Stole will be provided by Balfour once student is in line. Dress for graduation- Boys, dark pants, white shirt, tie, dark shoes Girls-Dark shoes, dresses, and skirts

SENIOR Expectations for JUNE 5th Graduation Practice: STUDENTS ARE TO ARRIVE AT FREEDOM HALL NO LATER THAN 10:45 PARKING IS FREE THAT DAY AND YOU MUST USE ONE OF THE PASS GATES WE WILL BE TAKING A BUS(OR BUSES) FROM SCHOOL AND LEAVE AT 10:30 YOUR FIELD TRIP PERMISSION SLIP IS YOUR TICKET ON TO THE BUS. DONT LOOSE IT!!!!!!!! STUDENTS WHO ARE DRIVING TO FREEDOM HALL ARE NOT TO ARRIVE AT SCHOOL THAT MORNING TO ""HANGOUT"". IF YOU HAVE OBLIGATIONS TO COMPLETE, YOU CAN DRIVE TO SCHOOL TO ""TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS"". NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO RIDE WITH ANOTHER STUDENT FROM SCHOOL. THAT WILL HAVE TO BE ARRANGE SEPARATELY BY THE PARENTS/GUARDIANS AND OFF CAMPUS. STUDENTS RIDING THE BUS OVER TO FREEDOM HALL WILL HAVE TO SIGN UP WITH MRS. HUDSON IN THE TECH BUILDING BEFORE JUNE 2ND. STUDENTS COMING TO SCHOOL THAT MORNING WILL HAVE TO REPORT TO THEIR REGULAR CLASSES WITH THEIR ASSIGNED TEACHER. STUDENTS FOUND ROAMING IN THE HALLWAYS WILL JEOPARDIZE THEIR PRIVILEGE OF GOING TO PRACTICE. ALL TEACHERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR STUDENTS UNTIL DEPARTURE. Honor cords for Advance Program, Honors Program and 3.0 GPA and above will be sold beginning Wed, May 27 in the counseling office. Please see Mr. Dawson before school, after school or during lunch. Each cord is $10, CASH ONLY!
