Tuesday 2/20/17

Congratulations to PRP's Academic Team for placing 4th at Regional Competition. The following Seniors advanced to State Finals. Gavan VanOver: 4th place Math and 5th place Science Ray Krause: 4th place Science Anakin Montgomery: 5th place Social Studies Jane Burch: 3rd place English Composition PRP competes in one of the toughest regions in the State. Our students compete against students from Manual, St. Francis, Brown, Presentation, DeSales, Holy Cross, Butler and other public schools.
Please help our school become more sustainable. The recycling project has begun in the cafeteria. During lunch, please put your recyclables (paper and plastic) in the cans with the clear plastic bags. Only clear plastic bags can be recycled.

The Hortense B. Perry Foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is offering a scholarship for African American Female Seniors. See Mrs. Wilson for application. Deadline March 24, 2018
Don't forget: Robotics Club will be meeting after school on Mondays in Room T209 until approximately 4:00pm. This semester we will be learning how to use micro-controllers to process input signals and then return those to outputs. (Example: How does a joystick tell a computer where to move. Driving a remote controlled car. )

Next Wednesday (Valentines Day) is Senior Night! Please come out and support our 4 Seniors (Brianna Burke, Kimberly Bussey, Makenna Combs, and Briah Floyd). They will all have a display in gym lobby, if you would like to stop by and drop off a note or card and send them well wishes as they play their last game at PRP.
