The boys varisty basketball team is coming off a very good weekend. We defeated J-town 77-56 Friday night and on Saturday we defeated Seneca 86-72. Our record now stands at 2 wins / 1 loss. We play Manual Tuesday night here at PRP. We would love to see you at the game. Come out and be our 6th man!

Visit 5 amazing countries in Europe, including England, France and Germany !! Take this opportunity to travel to Europe in June of 2019. This tour will include sightseeing in London, Paris, and being in Europe for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. A once in a lifetime experience. Robotics Club will be meeting after school on Mondays starting November 13th. The first meeting will be in room T105 and will last until 4pm. An introduction to topics, plan, and then question and answer session will follow.
There will be no tryouts for fall sports for Boys Basketball today. Tryouts will be held Tuesday. Varsity tryouts for 11th and 12th grade boys in the old gym at 2:30pm, Don't be late! JV tryouts for 10th graders Tuesday in the old gym at 4:45. Freshman tryouts for 9th grade boys - Tuesday inn the old Gym at 5:30pm. Last call for boys basketball tryouts. Bring a copy of your physical to tryout!
PRP 2017 - 2018 Basketball season tickets are on sale now in the Panther Pit until November 17. This season pass gets you admission to all PRP home game (11 boys and 13 girls games) and the PRP/Butler game at Valley. Cost is $25. This is a $66 savings!! Don't miss out!
Students - This is a reminder to not open our school doors for strangers. All people should enter our school through the Main offices of each building not through a side door. Also, if a person comes in a side entrance when you do that does not have a visitors pass on, immediately report this to your teacher or nearest adult.

The team would like to thank Brooklyn Burnett and Hailie Cannon for their help as they assisted with the computer layout and design portion of the competition. PRP's Team Red also competed well. The competition was held on October 18th at G.E.

DECEMBER ACT DEADLINE - The deadline to register to take the ACT Saturday December 9th is November 3rd. Don't wait until the last minute to sign up. If you are a junior or senior on Fee Waiver, you can receive 2 vouchers total while you are in high school to test for free. Otherwise, the test is $46. See Ms. Baxter in the youth service center if you need a voucher, or Ms. Lewis in 107 for help registering.
Driver's Permit verification requirements: Student must have already turned 16!! Obtain the permit verification form in the Main/SEO office. Parent/Legal Guardian must fill out and sign top section of form and return to Mrs. Hockman in the main office for verification. Please allow 24 hour notice. (Verification requires having less than 9 unexcused absences and failed less than two classes in the preceding semester)
Congratulations to PRP's JV Quick Recall Team on starting the year with wins over Fairdale and Butler. PRP defeated Fairdale 18-9, 16-12. PRP defeated Butler 21-7, 21-9. PRP's record is 2-0.
Reminder for anyone taking the ACT next Saturday October 28th, the deadline to upload your picture to the ACT website is today, October 20th. You will not be allowed to test if you have not uploaded your picture.
Best Buddies Match Party will be held on Tuesday October 24th from 5:30-7pm, in the cafeteria. Its a Halloween Party so wear your costume! Any questions see Ms. Lydon room 209.
Congratulations to PRP's Team Black for placing 2nd at the Kentucky Fame Manufacturing and Engineering Educational Showcase Competition. Members of PRP's Black Team are Gavan VanOver, Gabriel Tilly, Kaitlyn Sutton, Brandon Eugene and Raymond Krause. The team would like to thank Brooklyn Burnett and Hailie Cannon for their help as they assisted with the computer layout and design portion of the competition. PRP's Team Red also competed well. The competition was held on October 18th at G.E.

PRP Lady Panthers Basketball Tryouts continue today (October 17th, however if you are a student-athlete coming from a Fall Sport that ended, do not feel obligated to come today. Feel free to take the rest of the week off (if needed)! Make sure you are back by Monday October 23.

The registration link for applicants will be active the morning of October 11th on the Community Foundation of Louisville site.

Students please watch your speed while driving on campus and the streets surrounding PRP (Yucca and Feyhurst). Also, driving behind the tech building is now off limits, the gates behind the tech building (by the baseball field) will be locked from now on.
All cars need to be moved from the front parking lot next to Greenwood Road by 3pm Daily for Marching Band Practice. We appreciate everyone's cooperation!
