The Junior class officers will be selling Ring Dance tickets in the Panther Pit the week of 4/9/18 thru 4/13/18 during all 3 lunches. Monday - last names starting with A - F, Tuesday - last names starting with G - L, Wednesday - last names starting with M - R, Thursday - last names starting with S - Z, and Friday is a makeup day for anyone who did not attend their assigned day. NOTE: In order to sign up for the Ring Dance, all fees and Class dues for all 3 years must be paid.
Congratulations go out to Visual Art students Kilee Rohr and Jessica Stafford for their winning entries in the 2018 Kentucky Derby Festival Student Art Contest. Kilee won 2nd place and Jessica won 3rd place. Congratulations, girls!!!

The UN agreed to stricter laws in efforts to safe the Great Barrier Reef, and to prevent Deforestation in Magagascar, as a platform to help our earth's climate. Our ICJ, represented the US well, by coming in 5th overall and actually defeating Nicaragua in a debate. **WE will have a final KYA/KUNA meeting Thursday 4/12 in room 316 to say "Good BYE" to our seniors. Please stop by and see Mrs. Findley for details. Great job representing PRPHS!

Students and Teachers tomorrow, March 20th, is testing day here at PRP. It is a very important day for all students and teachers to be present at school and focused. Freshman will be taking the graduation required citizenship test, sophomores will be taking the practice ACT, juniors will be taking the ACT, and seniors will be participating in important senior activities. Students please be on time to school tomorrow, make sure you get a good nights sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. Sophomores and juniors remember to bring your pencils and calculators for the ACT tomorrow. All students will report to 1st period for attendance and will then be released to your testing locations via the intercom. Rosters for tomorrow's testing locations are posted in the main lobby and the tech building lobby. Please check the rosters for your testing location before leaving school today. If you have questions about testing you can stop by Mrs. Vines. Good Luck tomorrow students and we know you will give your best effort!
If you have seniors today during advisory can you please let them know Balfour will be here tomorrow during lunch to take cap and gown orders. This will be one of the last opportunities for them to order and they will not be permitted to walk in graduation without a cap and gown. We still have several seniors who need to order

Thanks for being awesome PRP Students! There are so many things you do well, We'd like to commend those of you who do good thing! Here is an awesome story from last week: Mr Stinson was in the parking lot last week and a teacher was coming across the sidewalk with supplies for class projects loaded on a dolly. She hit the curb and everything toppled over. Mr Stinson went to help, and before he could get there, 5 students stopped to help her load her things back up and get to class.They didn't laugh, video it, or say nasty things. They HELPED her.

Thanks for being awesome PRP Students! There are so many things you do well, We'd like to commend those of you who do good thing! Here is an awesome story from last week: Mr Stinson was in the parking lot last week and a teacher was coming across the sidewalk with supplies for class projects loaded on a dolly. She hit the curb and everything toppled over. Mr Stinson went to help, and before he could get there, 5 students stopped to help her load her things back up and get to class.They didn't laugh, video it, or say nasty things. They HELPED her.
Scheduling night for incoming 9th graders is tonight and tomorrow night starting at 6:30.

The students in Ms Dunn's Business Management Classes will be taking up collections for their non-profit partners during all lunches Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. This is your chance to donate to local non-profits, so bring you change and find a cause!
This weekend Ja’Naye Flanagan and Kiazja Watterson-Brown competed in KAR, the Kids Artistic Dance Revue. Ja’Naye got 1st place regional solo dance and got a scholarship to compete in Australia in 2019. Kiazja got 8th place regional solo dance. They also did a duet that got FIRST PLACE in the region! Which also got a scholarship to compete in Australia in 2019!

Ms. Lewis rm# 107 and Mr. Bassham rm# 109 are offering Math and English intervention for the 2 weeks prior to the test. The cost of the test is 46.00 paid to ACT (you must use a credit/debit card since the registration is online).

Last Saturday, members of our Quick Recall Team competed in the State Quiz Bowl Tournament at the University of Kentucky. After ten rounds of competition over eight hours, PRP's team finished as the 11th best team in the State.
