Announcements 5/28/15

PRP Co-op students for 2015-2016 school year- We will have a brief meeting on Thursday, May 28th at 12noon in the cafeteria. Important information will be discussed and received. Thanks!
College and Career Ready Honor Cords will be sold in Ms. Dunn's room, T204, and in the lobby during lunch all this week. They are $10.00. Stop by to get yours!
Student Council cords are $8 and are available for purchase in room 211. Please bring cash only!
Seniors - The countdown is on! Make sure you have requested your final transcript thru parchment.com for the college you will be attending. It will not be sent if not requested and you will not be able to register for classes in the spring!!!
Students interested in being on the debate team next year please stop by room 218 today to fill out interest information.
Yearbooks will be on sale in the bookstore all 3 lunches until school is out! Yearbooks are $60 if you have not all ready purchased one.

This past Saturday PRP track competed in the KY State Track and Field championship. Congrats goes out to Jeremiah Parker for coming in 7th place in the state in discus! His top throw this season was 139 feet. Congratulations track team on a great season!

Seniors!!
  • Please make sure your Prom Date's form is turned in by the end of the school day on Wednesday May 13. Also, if you need to change your dates name, the last day to do that will be on May 13th as well. See Mr. Braun for any questions
  • Belle Trip permission slips are due April 24th to your 1st period teacher. Remember any senior that is not passing classes or has an eschool class to complete will not be allowed to participate.
  • All seniors must be eligible to graduate before they can attend any senior activities
  • To get a Prom ticket you have to have paid all of your fees, dues, turned in library books or paid fines, and/or any other outstanding debt you may have. This can include but not limited to turning in a uniform or equipment. If you have any questions about this you may see Ms. Salyer prior to the last day to pass out tickets on May 6th.
  • If you need to complete graduation requirements after June 6, 2015, you will need to enroll in Jefferson County High School to complete summer program. Please see dates below for information on Jefferson County High School.

Announcement Congratulations to the following students for their winning entries in the 2015 Kentucky PTA Reflections Contest: Darius Henderson won An Award of Merit in Visual Art in the High School Division Al’Nesha Adkins won an Award of Excellence in Dance Choreography in the Special Artist Division Jayme K. Almon won a Creative Interpretation Award in Visual Art in the Special Artist Division All three of these are “State” awards!! Jayme Almon and Al’Nesha Adkins will advance to the National level!!!!! All "college ready" seniors who are interested in ordering cords for graduation will have to see Ms. Lewis by this Friday, May 8th. These cords will be $10 that can be paid up until May 20th.
