Monday 11/6/17

Robotics Club will be meeting after school on Mondays starting November 13th. The first meeting will be in room T105 and will last until 4pm. An introduction to topics, plan, and then question and answer session will follow.
Photos for student ID's will be taken during lunch (10:15 am thru 11:45 am) on Tuesday, November 7th in the tech building computer lab (T209). Only students that have paid their fees and have a pink receipt will be able to get their photo ID. We will NOT be taking payments on that day. If you have lost your ID we can reprint for $7.00.

The annual Student Council canned food drive has begun and will run until Dec. 8. Please bring in canned goods to your first period class. The first period with the most cans will receive a special treat on December 18! All canned goods go to families in our school and area! Thank You and Happy Holidays from the PRP Student Council!
Do you have an overdue book? Do you have fines on late books? "Turn yourself in" during the month of November and we will erase your fines!
Seniors remember to check college deadlines. Some application deadlines are approaching. Also check school websites for scholarship deadlines. This is peak time to apply so get your applications in!!
Seniors, scholarship information that comes to the counselors will be posted on the PRP website. Please look for the SCHOLARSHIP BUTTON coming soon. Students should check this weekly to look for new scholarship information. See your Academy Counselor for info.
Seniors, you must complete a FSA ID to start the FAFSA. Please go to fafsa.gov for info.
Seniors, check on the PRP website for info on the Vogt Scholarship. This is a $10,000 scholarship. Only applications using the online system (including all recommendations) will be accepted. The deadline to submit applications and recommendations is November 29th at 4:30pm EST.
Vogt Scholarship Info: · Demonstrated leadership in school, extra-curricular and community activities · A cumulative (weighted) GPA of 3.2 or higher · An ACT score of 25 or higher, or an SAT of 1200 or higher (redesigned SAT) · Completed and/or enrolled in Advanced Placement or equivalent college-level curriculum The application and review process is entirely online. The registration link for applicants will be active the morning of October 11th on the Community Foundation of Louisville site.
