After school intervention will be occurring in the CAD LAB every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30-3:00. Students will work on study island in the content area in which they need extra support. Students who attend regularly will receive points in that content class. This is only offered for English, Math, Science, and Social Studies courses.

KYA meetings are Thursday' s after school in room 316. The conference is Dec 5 thru Dec 7. New members are welcome. Deadline for registration is Oct 10th. Financial aide forms are due by Oct 17th. For questions please see Mrs. Findley or Ms.Thomas!

Awards will be given for Painting, Decorating, Most Creative, and Fan Favorite) Winners will be announced at the home football game vs St Xavier on October 25th. "
Any boy in grades 11 or 12 interested in tryout out for the boys basketball team need to report next Tuesday, October 15th, to the New Gym ready to try out at 2:30. Everyone MUST have a completed KHSAA physical and $5 insurance fee. Tryouts for 10th graders will be held Monday October 21st at 4;30. Tryouts for 9th graders will be held Monday October 21st at 5:00. You MUST have a completed KHSAA physical and $5 insurance fee."
Bring in money donations to all 4 lunches to vote for the teacher you want to see get pied in the face at pep rally. Your choices are Mrs. Yochum, Mrs. Ferguson, Ms. Johnson, Mrs. Cruz, Dr. Fry, Mr. Stinson and Mr. Pedigo.
Seniors who have signed up for the visit to Morehead State on Oct. 24th need to turn permission slips into Mrs. Baxter in room 112 by Oct. 23rd. The bus will leave for Morehead promptly at 7:40 and return around 3:30. Make sure you have transportation home after the trip. Any questions, see Mr. Dawson in room 211.

Any boy in 9th or 10th grade interested in trying out for basketball needs to report to the Old Gym at 4:30 Monday 10-21. You must have a completed physical (the physical packet you need is on Ridgetalk.com and ALL pages must be completed) and a $5 insurance fee. Failure to have either of these will cause you to be unable to try out. This will be your only opportunity to try out. If you are playing a fall sport, you will try out when the fall season sports are complete.
