Monday 4/9/18

The Junior class officers will be selling Ring Dance tickets in the Panther Pit the week of 4/9/18 thru 4/13/18 during all 3 lunches. Monday - last names starting with A - F, Tuesday - last names starting with G - L, Wednesday - last names starting with M - R, Thursday - last names starting with S - Z, and Friday is a makeup day for anyone who did not attend their assigned day. NOTE: In order to sign up for the Ring Dance, all fees and Class dues for all 3 years must be paid.
Congratulations go out to Visual Art students Kilee Rohr and Jessica Stafford for their winning entries in the 2018 Kentucky Derby Festival Student Art Contest. Kilee won 2nd place and Jessica won 3rd place. Congratulations, girls!!!
The Kentucky Beta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Louisville is offering multiple one-time scholarships in a total amount of $3000 to any incoming freshman male for the 2018-19 academic year! See school website for application.
SENIORS: Baby Ads are due to Mrs. Fox in room 315 by 4/12/18 for the Senior Edition of the Paw Print. MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 4/12/18.

The Mayor's Day of Service will take place on Wednesday, April 18th. We are looking for any 9th, 11th or 12th grade female student to participate. We will take a group of 30 students to read with toddlers at Ridgewood Baptist Church. Participants will be required to purchase a book to give to their "reading buddy." We will walk to McDonald's for lunch afterwards. Participants are eligible for "community service" hours. Sign up in the Student Service Center, Room 112.
KUNA conference both Resolutions were passed! The UN agreed to stricter laws in efforts to safe the Great Barrier Reef, and to prevent Deforestation in Magagascar, as a platform to help our earth's climate. Our ICJ, represented the US well, by coming in 5th overall and actually defeating Nicaragua in a debate. **WE will have a final KYA/KUNA meeting Thursday 4/12 in room 316 to say "Good BYE" to our seniors. Please stop by and see Mrs. Findley for details. Great job representing PRPHS!

Louisville Metro Housing Authority scholarship available online at www.lmha1.org or by calling 569-3439. Deadline is April 16, or see Mrs. Wilson for paper copy. Scholarship is for 1,500.
If you are a Senior or Junior who is interested in participating in summer learning opportunities in the medical field, please come speak with Mr. Dippie in T105.

Driver's Permit verification requirements: Student must have already turned 16!! Obtain the permit verification form in the Main/SEO office. Parent/Legal Guardian must fill out and sign top section of form and return to Mrs. Hockman in the main office for verification. Please allow 24 hour notice. (Verification requires having less than 9 unexcused absences and failed less than two classes in the preceding semester)
