Juniors- The On-Demand Writing test is May 10th. Please check the rosters in the main building lobby for your testing location. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Vines in room 106.
Congratulations go out to Visual Art student, Mallery Marshall for her winning entry in the 2018 Congressional Art Competition! Mallery’s painting won the Community Choice Award. Her painting will hang in Congressman Yarmuth’s office for one year. Congratulations, Mallery!!
The deadline to sign up for the June 9th ACT test is this Friday, May 4th. WE WILL NOT BE HERE AT SCHOOL FRIDAY, so if you need assistance signing up, please see Ms. Lewis in room 107 or Ms. Baxter in the youth service center no later than Thursday May 3rd. Juniors and seniors who are on fee waiver can receive a voucher to take the ACT for free, 2 times total while in High School. For anyone else testing this year the cost of the ACT is $46.
ATTENTION SENIORS!!!!!!!!! Any SENIOR interested in a career in the Kentucky National Guard, or assistance with paying for college through the Guard, PLEASE SEE Coach Cook in Room 118 for more information.
2018 - 2019 Cheerleading tryout packets are now available in room 217. Tryouts will be May 15, 17 and 18 from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM in the Old Gym. Please see Mrs. Danzinger with any questions.
Jefferson County Assistant Principals Association EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP. If you plan on going into education, please check out this $500 scholarship. Info on PRP website.
PRP Girls Basketball Off-Season Workouts and Open Gym will start Tuesday April 17th from 5-7pm and Thursday April 19th from 245-445. This cycle of Tuesday from 5-7pm and Thursdays from 245-445 will continue until the end of the school year. If you plan to teach, please see Mrs. Wilson for the Elizabeth Breckinridge Scholarship. This is a $685 one time scholarship. Deadline is May 4th. Please submit your name to our selection committee.
Driver's Permit verification requirements: Student must have already turned 16!! Obtain the permit verification form in the Main/SEO office. Parent/Legal Guardian must fill out and sign top section of form and return to Mrs. Hockman in the main office for verification. Please allow 24 hour notice. (Verification requires having less than 9 unexcused absences and failed less than two classes in the preceding semester)
