*This year more than 3,370 women in Kentucky will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 232,000 women will be diagnosed in the US.  That’s too many – help us get this number to zero and give at the PRP v. Butler game on Friday night or during lunch on Friday.

* Did you know the American Cancer Society has played a role in nearly every major breast cancer research breakthrough in recent history, including confirming the knowledge that genetics, body weight, lack of exercise, and alcohol use can increase breast cancer risk by 34 percent. This year they invest $84 million in breast cancer research, which includes investing about $3 million in the great state of Kentucky!  During the PRP v. Butler game Friday night and during lunch on Friday, donate to the American Cancer Society.

* Women can help reduce breast cancer risk by choosing to make healthy lifestyle choices to stay well. Weight control and regular physical activity are also important for breast cancer survivors. Healthy lifestyle choices such as maintaining a healthy weight, getting regular exercise, and limiting alcohol intake are important steps to helping reduce your risk of breast cancer.  Please donate to the cause during lunch on Friday or at the PRP v. Butler game Friday night and T-shirts will be on sell for $10.

* Today during lunch, the dance team will be collecting for Breast Cancer Awareness.  T-shirts will also be on sale for $10 each.  Collections will be taken at the PRP v. Butler game tonight.  Help support cancer research and all the survivors of cancer by donating today and wearing PINK to the game tonight!  Thank you.

* If you need a night out and would like to support the NEW RED HOTS dance team at PRP, come to Logan's Roadhouse on
Thursday night between 4 p.m. and close.  20% of proceeds will go to the dance team.  If you need a voucher, ask one of the dancers or pick one up in the Student Service Center.  Thanks in advance!"
